Impact of Rehabilitation Interventions on Walking Endurance in Children with Cerebral Palsy. A Systematic Literature Review

Background. Decreased walking endurance in children with CP results impaired gait function and adversely affects participation. Appropriate rehabilitation interventions can significantly increase associated functional efficiency.
 The aim. To evaluate the effectiveness of different for by analyzing scientific research.
 Methods. selection articles was performed “PubMed” database, according to keywords criteria identifying study topic. scheme PRISMA guidelines.
 Results. 15 were included systematic review. Statistically (p<0,05) higher found after: “Gait Trainer GT1” workout; muscle strength-power training; strength-endurance training + usual (INT) passive movement intervention, all compared INT. Also, treadmill INT (vs. INT); “3DCaLT” robotic system treadmill); virtual reality whole-body vibration placebo).
 Conclusions. In cerebral palsy, certain training, strength more effectively non-combined interventions. When choosing from several interventions, depends on specifics intervention. is enhanced (compared placebo) a component combined same intervention without component).
